AUTOCITS in the ERTRAC Connected Automated Driving Roadmap

Last March, ERTRAC, as a European Technology Platform that gathers experts from the industry, research providers and public authorities, published the Connected Automated Driving Roadmap 2019. This roadmap was prepared by the Working Group “Connectivity and Automated Driving”, providing updated definitions and development paths, an updated list of EU and international activities, and an extended list of R&D challenges. In the chapter 4 regarding EU and international initiatives, AUTOCITS has been included as one of the initiatives that foster the safety and vehicle networks under the objectives of the project. The publication refers to the Madrid Pilot highlighting the urban environment where the tests have been carried out.
